The Tunbridge Church

Thanks to residents, our two village stores, the library and others who helped The Tunbridge Church support Project Dove. Randolph's Bethany Church organized the collection of 1,500 Christmas toys and gifts for displaced children in Myrhorod, Ukraine. We in Tunbridge gave many gifts, a $1,000 donation given to our church specifically for shipping costs, and an additional $2,000 for ongoing humanitarian support. Please click on the following link to see a short video showing the collection and distribution of the gifts: tinyurl.com/3pubnsz3 ... See MoreSee Less

Annual Meeting: The Tunbridge Church Annual Meeting will be on Sunday, Feb. 5, in the sanctuary after the worship service. In addition to regular business, the Parish Council will present new bylaws which will be available shortly. All church members attending have voting privileges. A potluck brunch will follow in the Parish House.

Missions: The church has sent a second gift of $1,000 for humanitarian assistance in Myrhorod, Ukraine. That $2,000 was in addition to $1,000 the church received that was designated for Bethany Church’s Project Dove to help pay freight costs for the toys and gifts our church helped collect.

The Parish Council would like to initiate a new mission effort for a recipient closer to home. The church previously contributed to Afghan resettlement in Vermont, a family that lost its home to fire, and the Visiting Nurse and Hospice for Vermont New Hampshire. Please bring your ideas to the Annual Meeting or give your suggestions to a council member.
